  7. The STW/Advisor tool suite consists of static code analyzers that help you
  8. determine program reliability and performance attributes.  METRIC (Software
  9. Metrics Processor/Generator) computes metrics source code files, including
  10. size metrics, Software Science metrics (for text complexity), and Cyclomatic
  11. Complexity metrics (for control flow complexity), into easy-to-read reports
  12. and Kiviat diagrams.  METRIC identifies the most complex, error prone, and
  13. difficult to maintain parts of a program.  STATIC (Static Analyzer) processes
  14. C source code files and generates a report that warns of any anomalies in the
  15. code that are likely to have bugs, be nonportable, or wasteful.  TDGEN (Test
  16. Data Generator System) generates test data files into a user-designed format.
  17. It replaces variable fields in a template file with values from a values file.
  18. Because TDGEN can randomly generate test cases, it can make your testing more
  19. diverse and more efficient.
